3 Applications Built by Boston College Students Using Mendix in the Classroom
Students from Boston College decided to use Mendix as a prototyping tool to deploy and build working systems for the span of their semester-long project. Using Mendix they worked in small teams to develop information management systems to address the business needs of their assigned project clients. For instance, their Mendix-made systems enabled clients to track on course approval processes, recorded on spin class information and scheduled on planning events for them with real-time feedback. Mendix’s visual modelling with the microflows feature also helped students to quickly diagram on high-functioning and value-driving business processes. All in all, students were able to benefit from Mendix as they constantly had close collaboration with their assigned clients in order to iterate and customize the project according to their changing requirements.
